Emirates has confirmed the addition of a new route to Phuket.
People looking to book flights to Phuket this Christmas will now have the option of flying with Emirates.
The Dubai-based carrier – which recently picked up a host of honours at the Skytrax awards for its luxurious and efficient service – has confirmed that it will be flying to the Thai island from December 10th this year.
Emirates already flies four times daily to Bangkok, including a flagship A380 flight, but the addition of a Phuket route will give holidaymakers more choice in the future, believes Tim Clark, president of the airline.
“We are confident that Phuket will prove a popular destination for our passengers, especially those from Europe, Middle East and the UAE,” he added.
People choosing Emirates for their holiday to Thailand will now have the option of having their meals being prepared by gourmet chefs and making use of the Ice entertainment system which offers over 1,400 channels.
