Full service carrier, Emirates has announced to operate 2 additional flights on its route connecting Dubai and Mauritius. The airline will start offering tickets on its additional flights with effect from December 2, 2012.
British holidaymakers looking for flights tickets to travel to Mauritius via Dubai will soon have added choices made available to them by Emirates. The carrier has announced to offer tickets on two additional flights between Dubai and Mauritius from December 2, 2012, revealed online sources.
With the addition of two extra flights on the route, airline’s frequency on the route will increase from present 12 to 14 weekly services. The airline is expected to deploy Boeing 777-300 aircrafts on the route and offer tickets in a three-class configuration.
Flight EK3705 will depart from Dubai at 1000hrs and will arrive in Mauritius at 1645hrs. The return flight EK3706 will depart from Mauritius at 1820hrs and arrive in Dubai at 0110hrs, the following day.
Emirates’ Senior Vice President, West Asia Indian Ocean, Ahmed Khoory said, “The increase in frequencies will undoubtedly create more opportunities for the Mauritian tourism sector and local economy. The island destination is very popular throughout our network and double daily flights will offer even more flexibility to travellers.”
He further said, “The island destination is an important one for Emirates. We have committed ourselves towards promoting Mauritius and we will drive our efforts in this direction as the island becomes more accessible.”
The higher availability of options will ensure that both local and foreign vacationers in the region, who look for tickets to travel between the destinations, are a happy lot.
Currently, the airline operates with its hi-tech fleet of 188 aircrafts to offer tickets to travel around 126 destinations in 74 countries.
