The 4th Queen’s Cup International Triathlon will be held in Thailand this month.
Bangkok is one of Asia’s most popular tourist destinations.
It recently ranked third behind London and Paris, but ahead of New York in terms of passenger numbers in a recent Mastercard poll – and it is easy to see why it is so popular.
The main attractions in the Thai capital are its nightlife and its rich cultural history, which is embodied by the numerous temples and shrines that can be found all around the city.
It is also an important travel hub, with people from all over the world flying into Bangkok before heading out to explore the rural and costal wonders of Thailand.
One event which will highlight the beautiful Khao Tao village and the wider Hua Hin region gets underway on August 19th.
The 4th Queen’s Cup International Triathlon will attract around 500 athletes from around the world.
Hua Hin is a fitting venue for such an event as the holiday destination is known as Thailand’s royal beach resort.
