Delhi is to host a Grand Prix for the first time this weekend, with a show by Lady Gaga.

People on flights to Delhi may well be planning to attend the Formula One Grand Prix which is taking place in the city for the first time this weekend.

Some of the world’s best drivers will be competing on Sunday October 30th on the track at the new Buddh International Circuit, with around 100,000 fans of the sport set to pack the stands.

Those who are not interested in the race itself can still get a touch of its glamour as concerts have been planned for both Lady Gaga and Metallica.

It will be the first time that both of these American acts have performed in India.

Many Bollywood stars are also thought to be attending the event, with rumours that some Hollywood A-list stars have also been invited.

People who take flights to Delhi for the race may keep in mind a recent report from the local police, which showed that female drivers are by far the safest in the city.
