Book flights to Phuket for a relaxing break, one blogger advises.
Travelers who have booked flights to Thailand and are need of a well-earned rest may wish to head to Phuket, after one travel writer has suggested the destination is the perfect place to relax.
Stuart Clarke, writing for SoutheastAsia.org, says that if he had only two weeks to spend in the region, he would include a trip to Phuket in his itinerary.
“A day spent swimming and lying on the beach is a day well spent,” he advises, adding that a trip to see an “amazing” sunset from the headland of Laem Promthep is well worth a visit.
Mr Clarke recommends staying away from the main tourist area of Patong Beach when it comes to accommodation and suggests Surin, Karon and Kata beaches all offer a wealth of excellent resorts and hotels.
AsiaWeb advises that visitors to Phuket will be able to enjoy “spectacular scenery, stunning tropical sunsets and warm blue sea” at this beautiful beach destination.
