Anyone who wants a break that offers both a diverse range of experiences and a host of cultural activities should book flights to South Africa, it has been suggested.
People who want to have a wide variety of sights to see and activities to undertake during a holiday should book flights to South Africa, one travel journalist has advised.
Writing for the Daily Telegraph, Graham Boynton pointed out that the country, which is due to host this summer’s World Cup, has everything in terms of landscapes and plenty of culture to complement it.
He stated that South Africa is “physically blessed more than any other country I know” and listed its “dramatic mountain landscape” around the Cape, the “rugged bushveld” at Kruger and the coastline “dotted with sand beaches” to illustrate his point.
In addition to its natural attributes, Mr Boynton was keen to point out that there is a wealth of high-class restaurants and lots of entertainment to keep any traveller amused, whether they are following the football or not.
Thousands of sports fans from all over the world are expected to arrive in the country for the start of the tournament on June 11th when the host nation take on Mexico in Johannesburg.
