It has been announced that Prince Charles is to make a visit to South Africa with his wife.

People travelling on flights to South Africa next month could bump into a royal during their trip as Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are to visit the nation.

The prince and his wife are travelling to South Africa and Tanzania on trip looking into the environmental and sustainability schemes which are in place in the nations ahead of the Durban Climate Summit.

During the trip, which will take place between November 2nd and 9th, the royal couple will visit locations including Johannesburg, Cape Town and Pretoria in South Africa.

While in Tanzania they will visit Dar el Salaam and the exotic island of Zanzibar.

They will also visit a Masaai village and a national park.

Other famous visitors set to take flights to South Africa soon include the author Salman Rushdie and the Hollywood actress Daryl Hannah, who are among the judges for this year’s Freedom to Create Prize.
