Virgin Atlantic has revealed that it is the official airline for the England World Cup football squad.
If you want to fly to the World Cup like the England stars who will be taking to the pitch then you might want to consider booking your flights to South Africa with Virgin Atlantic.
The British carrier has announced that it is the official airline for the sports team heading to the World Cup competition this summer.
But if you are hoping to share a plane with the likes of Frank Lampard and Wayne Rooney on your way to South Africa, then you are out of luck because the airline is providing a private plane for the squad.
England’s hopefuls will jet off on their flight to South Africa on June 2nd, heading to Johannesburg ahead of their opening match on June 12th against the USA in Rustenburg.
Sir Richard Branson, president of Virgin Atlantic, said that it is a “great honour” for the airline to fly the team to South Africa.
“They will be looked after in style by our world-class cabin crew, so that when they arrive in Johannesburg they are fit and ready to take on the world,” he stated.
