Anyone booking flights to Egypt will find that there is plenty to keep them occupied in Sharm el Sheikh, according to one travel journalist.
People who have booked flights to Egypt with the aim of having an active break will not be disappointed by all that Sharm el Sheikh has to offer.
This is the opinion of travel writer Kirsty Wilkie, who recently wrote for Northern Ireland Travel News that there is plenty to occupy holidaymakers in the Egyptian resort.
At the top of her list of things to do is taking a snorkelling excursion into the Ras Mohammed national park.
The beautiful coral reefs and colourful fish will keep visitors amused and Ms Wilkie even saw a sea turtle during her trip.
Other activities recommended by the journalist include a quad biking trip into the desert and an overnight stay at a Bedouin camp, where travellers have the chance to sample freshly made food and try their hand at Bedouin dancing around a campfire.
For those who enjoy spending time in the sea it could be a good idea to take a scuba diving course. As well as the coral reefs, there are several ship wrecks in the waters around Sharm el Sheikh, including the Dunraven and the Thistlegorm.
