People heading to Sydney can learn all about the areas featured in a popular TV show.

Fans of the TV show Underbelly who are taking flights to Sydney will soon be able to take in some of the sights and sounds of locations used in the programme on a new tour.

In order to get a feel of the area and stay in the heart of the show’s setting, the Mercure Potts Point hotel is offering a special package, which includes the cost of a guided tour in the price.

With the fourth series of the hit programme due to air in Australia soon, this could be a great time to find out more about the tales behind the show and its characters.

“Hear the real stories behind the characters such as Tilly Devine and Kate Leigh, stand on the site of unsolved mysteries and uncover the secrets of the sly grog and razor gangs,” the organisers said.

Those planning to take in a rugby game after travelling on flights to Sydney will have to travel to the Sydney Football Stadium from now on, as it is becoming the new home of the national team.
