The Newtown Festival will celebrate 150 years of history this November.

Anyone booking flights to Australiato enjoy the country’s brilliant summer weather this month could be able to take the opportunity to experience one of country’s oldest festivals.

On November 11th, Newtown will be celebrating its 150th anniversary with a great mix of live music and other hi-jinks.

All the performers on both the Federation Stage and the Essential Stage have been picked for their affinity with the local area and that is set to give the festival a very intimate feel this year.

As well as the music, the festival vibe is set to be created by the hundreds of unique stalls that will surround the two main stages.

Here, holidaymakers can pick up the perfect memento of their holiday in New South Wales, as well as support the local craftsmen and artisans who bring their wares to Newtown.

The festival is scheduled to run from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm local time.
