Qantas could increase the capacity of its returning Sydney to Gold Coast routes.
People thinking about booking flights to Australia in the future could have an increased amount of options as Qantas looks at the possibility of adding further routes between Sydney and the Gold Coast.
The airline stopped the flights a few years ago, citing economic difficulties, but it is now reinstating services and looking to expand, reports the Brisbane Times.
From this week, Qantas will run three daily flights between the two popular tourist destinations of Sydney and Brisbane, but could increase this frequency depending on the strength of early bookings.
This means that holidaymakers will have ample opportunity to fly between the two.
Sydney is one of the most popular places in the southern hemisphere for people looking to experience a relaxed and laid-back city holiday, while Brisbane is traditionally viewed as the gateway to some of Australia’s natural attractions such as the Great Barrier Reef.
