 Offering a chance to tickets buyers to fly aboard the Boeing 787 Dreamliner while travelling to and from Australia, Qatar Airways is all set to become the first airline to offer flights on the jet airliner for Aussie connection.

Boeing 787 is set to enter the skies of Australia as Qatar Airways is all ready to become the first airline to offer scheduled 787 flights to and from Australia from early next year.

Qatar Airways’ Boeing 787 flights services to Australia will start from Feb. 1, 2013 and the carrier will be offering tickets options to travellers seeking connections between Perth to Doha. Onward connections to destinations like London Heathrow will also be on offer for tickets seekers.

Flyers picking tickets to travel to and from Australia will now have the opportunity to make a journey on board one of the most sophisticated and comfortable aircraft, said Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker.

He also mentioned about the airline’s deployment of the 787 on its London route.

“From Perth, passengers are able to easily connect via Doha to more 80 destinations worldwide, including over 30 in Europe such as London Heathrow which from will this week will see Qatar Airways flying a 787 on one of its five daily flights.

“From February, we will be able to offer the UK and western Australian markets a single 787 product all the way giving our passengers a whole new long-haul experience on the world’s newest aircraft. We are delighted with today’s announcement, providing our Australian passengers with an unparalleled service on board the most talked-about aircraft in the world today,” he said in a company statement.

Travellers blocking tickets on 787 flights will find the award-winning touch screen Android system on every seat. The interactive system offers over 1,000 movies, TV programs, music listings and gaming options in a highly user friendly way, something that is sure to please passengers taking tickets.

Every day from Feb. 1, 2013, Flight QR900 to Perth will depart from Doha at 0130 hrs and arrive in Australia at 1720 hrs. QR901 will leave Australia at 2245 hrs and land in Doha at 0510 hrs, for the return journey. Those desirous of booking flights tickets for connections to London Heathrow will find that Flight QR075 departs Dohaat 0625 hrs and arrives in London at 1105 hrs. For the return flights, QR076 will take off from LHR at 1505 hrs and land in Doha at 0045 hrs, following day.
