Qatar Airways Starts Non-Stop Services To Nagpur, India

Qatar Airways, the flag carrier of the State of Qatar, has launched non-stop flights to Nagpur, India from Doha. The new flight takes the total weekly passenger services to 102 from 95 across 13 major cities in India.

The airline is using an A320 between Doha and Nagpur and has an average flight time of little over four hours. The aircraft has a two-class configuration and features a total of 144 seats – 12 seats in Business Class and 132 seats in Economy.

The additional service is evidence of the growing demand in the Indian market and further strengthens our commitment and focus in the region. Leisure and business travellers from Nagpur can now experience enhanced connectivity to more than 150 international destinations through seamless connections via Doha’s Hamad International Airport. Qatar Airways serves 13 key cities in India and connects these cities to a wide range of international destinations via its hub in Doha including Dallas, Houston, London, Miami, New York, Paris, Philadelphia, Barcelona, and Rome.

Thus far in 2015, Qatar Airways has started flights to Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Zanzibar (Tanzania), Abha (Saudi Arabia), and Faisalabad, Sialkot and Multan in Pakistan. Also, the carrier plans to commence services to Durban (South Africa) before the end of this year.

Next year, three new U.S. destinations – Los Angeles, Boston and Atlanta – will be included in Qatar Airways’ large network. Services to Sydney and Adelaide (Australia) and Birmingham (UK) are in the pipeline as well.
