Air India, the flag carrier of India has started daily flights from Delhi to Australia’s Melbourne and Sydney adding to the choices of Indian as well as international connecting passengers at Delhi seeking air tickets to Australia.
Holidaymakers from India as well from UK and rest of Europe seeking air tickets for holidays to Australia will now have added options as Air India, the national carrier of India, has launched direct flights from Delhi to both Sydney and Melbourne.
One of India’s prominent flight operators, Air India started its operations on the route from August 31 onward. The Airline revealed plans to introduce Boeing 787 Dreamliner service from September 2 onwards to both Sydney and Melbourne. The flights will be operated daily on a Triangulated route – Delhi-Melbourne-Sydney-Delhi (3 times a week) and Delhi-Sydney-Melbourne-Delhi (4 times a week).
This new service is being looked at to facilitate the trade, and will promote investment as well as tourism between Australia and India. Besides, the daily direct flights with Dream liner aircraft will spell added availability of seats on the route. This will benefit passengers from India as well as international passengers seeking cheap tickets for the airline’s economy class aboard flights connecting at India’s capital Delhi.
