Famed for its soaring skyscrapers, green gardens, buzzing malls and markets, and a charged-up atmosphere, New York boasts myriad charms and unveils something new and exciting every time you visit it. Though a 3-day trip is not enough to explore all that the ‘Big Apple’ has to offer, you can still have a satiating vacation with a well-planned itinerary.

Day 1

A great way to experience the fascinating vibe of New York is by wandering around the famous Times Square. Hop on a train from your nearest station to reach the trendiest and most lively district in New York City. You can head to the Rock Observation Deck to enjoy spectacular views of the Manhattan Skyline. Take a walk down the Broadway exploring some of the area’s most magnificent gems including Times Square Visitor Centre, Times Square Toys ‘R’ and Madame Tussauds’ Wax Museum. Unwind in the evening by indulging in some shopping and trying out the delicious fare served in the Downtown Manhattan.

Day 2

Start your day with a ZEPHYR Seaport Liberty Cruise from Pier 16. This highly renowned tour reveals some of the area’s most iconic landmarks including the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Ellis Island, and Battery Park. Once the excursion is over, visit the Statue of Liberty and other nearby attractions on the Liberty Island. Buy your ticket, if you wish to climb the staircase within the statue. Scores of restaurants and cafés here offer ample dining opportunities. Head to the Crown Café for classic American favourites such as cheese burgers, hot dogs, and seafood. Not too far from the monument is the popular Battery Park, a 25-acre lush green park featuring a number of monuments, memorials and sculptures, and different varieties of beautiful flowers and plants.

Wrap up your day by exploring the glamour at the 5th Avenue, one of the world’s most posh areas, brimming with luxurious shopping malls, upscale restaurants, and renowned hotels.

Day 3

Enjoy your third day amidst nature and go explore some of the city’s splendid museums. Spend the morning at the incredible Central Park, located in the heart of Manhattan. Take in the breathtaking views of its spectacular natural landscapes, relish breathtaking serenity, and admire historical monuments – a visit here is a feast for your eyes and other senses. If you are in New York with kids, there is no better place to enjoy a picnic than the Central Park. Find your favourite spot and enjoy your picnic supplies; of course, there are cafes and restaurants too, offering a variety of local delicacies.

On the west side of the park is the American Museum of Natural History, one of the biggest museums in the world. The museum is acclaimed for its impressive collection of dinosaur fossils. The Metropolitan Museum of Art is another attraction that you can add to your itinerary.
