Top equestrian and hunting action can be seen in Abu Dhabi this September.

After the equestrian exploits seen in the Olympics recently with high jumps and dancing horses, the sport is currently enjoying a big popularity boost.

The horse has also long been a symbol of the UAE states, with the animal’s roots being traced back to the region.

From September 5th to 8th, the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre will combine the past and the present when it hosts Adihex.

As well as being the emirate’s finest equestrian show, the event also promises a bit of entertainment for all the family, as birds of prey showcase their deadly hunting skills and a traditional camel auction takes place.

The Centre will also be full of stalls selling the latest camping, hunting, equestrian, fishing and weaponry equipment from over 500 brands.

Doors open at 11 am and each day Adihex runs until 10 pm.

Almost 100,000 people attended the last event.
