Holidays to Thailand are preferred by those aged 25 to 34, it has been revealed.
Travellers aged 25 to 34 are the most likely to book a holiday to Thailand, according to the results of a new survey.
Research carried out by currency provider First Rate Exchange Services showed that Asia was the most popular continent with holidaymakers in the age group.
A holiday in South Africa was more likely to be taken by someone aged between 45 and 59, the survey revealed.
It also suggested that people from London preferred adventure travel over other areas of the UK and that Scots were the most successful at seeking out the best deal for their travel money.
Some 30 per cent of people in the south-west admitted to holidaying in less traditional resorts outside of western Europe.
