The second Magic Festival in Delhi has closed with a spectacular show.

People returning from holidays to India often talk about having a magical time.

With attractions such as tiger sanctuaries and the Taj Mahal, it is not surprising that feelings of wonder are evoked while in the country.

However, people in Delhi were treated to a more literally kind of magic last weekend, when the city held the second annual Magic Festival.

The event was organised by Delhi Tourism in association with the government of Delhi and Indian Brotherhood of Magicians and it welcomed not only the best tricksters and conjurors in India, but also top international magic acts.

Perhaps the highlight of the celebrations was the spectacular closing ceremony, which was held at Pitampura’s Dilli Haat on Sunday (September 16th).

Huge crowds of Delhites and tourists alike gathered to watch the tricks, mind reading and slight of hand.

The event is set to return next year.
