Authorities believes a new light and sound show helps visitors better understand the history of the Taj Mahal.
When people visit Delhi one of the first things that they wish to do is take the trip see the Taj Mahal – one of the most famous symbols of India and one of the Wonders of the World.
This was made much easier recently with the completion of a new road network and now tourism authorities in Agra – the site of the monument – are adding to the atmosphere once visitors arrive.
They took the building as their inspiration to create a new sound and light show that helps explain the diverse cultural past of the region.
Director of the Kalakriti Culture Convention Ashok Jain said before a tourist visits the state, they have a certain expectation of Agra, but after watching this show, their perspective changes and they feel that they are part of the “message of love”.
The 358-year-old Taj Mahal brings around four million tourists to Agra every year, according to Zee News.
