The honour was received by Manish Chatrath, chairman of Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) at a gala ceremony held at Mumbai last week.
“The Best Destination for Food & Drink award is a prestigious award for Delhi and is a step forward towards making Delhi a preferred tourist destination” a statement from Delhi Tourism read.
According to the officials, the well-know magazine invited the nation’s best explorers to opt for their most loved destinations and most preferred travel experiences. The honours were shortlisted by a board of industry experts and professionals.
With a hoarded wealth of trendy restaurants and intoxicating culinary scene at Chandni Chowk, the enchanting city is already a renowned attraction that sets global gourmets on mad scramble for tickets for flights and India holidays.
