Bangalore Open Air, billed as the only dedicated Heavy Metal Festival in India, is all set to impress local fans in July 2013. Even tourists grabbing Bangalore bound flights during the time can enjoy the extravaganza.
A huge treat is in store for metal fans in India and even for foreign tourists who have eyes set on tickets aboard flights to fly into the country around the start of July. Bangalore Open Air (BOA) is set to take place on July 6th, 2013 at Jayamahal Palace Grounds in the IT city of Bangalore in South India.
It will be the second edition of the open-air festival and much bigger international presence will be felt this time around. Six international and two Indian bands will be performing in the city, much to the delight of foreigners who are already in Bangalore after getting hold of tickets on flights to fly into India.
Animals As Leaders, Sodom, Ihsahn, Dark Tranquility, Iced Earth, Leprous, Millennium and Demonic Resurrection are the Indian and international bands that will be performing in this year’s BOA.
BOA allows local fans in India and tourists, who have booked their tickets on flights arriving in India, with a wonderful opportunity to witness the genre’s elite figures. The event will see headlining acts across different metal genres, including black, modern progressive, melodic death and some progressive metal with avant-garde sensibilities.
Tickets for the concert can be booked online. Early bird special is also available on tickets, making it essential for the music lovers to book their tickets as soon as possible if cheap deal is what they seek. Foreigners who are already in India can also opt to catch the musical extravaganza, something unique for them before they board their flights back home from a ‘cultural and historical’ India. July is a cheap season for India travel as far as flights’ fare and hotel room tariffs go. Tourists who are contemplating an Indian tour for long can surely take the plunge and book tickets on flights to the country for a liberal metal dose in their sightseeing itinerary.
