The latest installment of the Dubai International Boat Show has begun in the emirate, with 430 yachts and boats on parade.
Shaikh Majid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, officially opened the 20th edition of the boat show yesterday (March 13th 2012).
Continuing through to March 17th, the show is open each day from 15:00 to 21:30 local time.
Taking place at the Dubai Marine Sports Club, more than 20 super yachts will be showcased, as well as there being the regional launches of 33 new boats and the premieres of a further nine vessels.
Recognised as being one of the most important events of its kind in the Middle East, this year new exhibitors from the likes of Cyprus, Hong Kong and Tunisia will be exhibiting their latest creations.
As well as seeing the vessels, there are also a range of watersports activities being held, giving visitors the chance to try out something new.
