The forthcoming Dubai International Boat Show is set to showcase the wide range of attractions that the state can offer sailors.

Saeed Al Hareb, managing director of the Dubai International Marine Club, explained that this year’s event is set to include the revealing of41 new boats and could tempt marine enthusiast to take flights to Dubai.

He explained:”The Dubai International Boating Show brings together the leading marine companies from across the world, driving business across five continents.

“It is both the catalyst for the Middle East leisure marine industry and the focal point of the worldwide boating industry.”

It is expected that 20 per cent more companies will be involved in the show this year compared to 2010 and exhibitions will travel from a number of countries including Oman, Monaco, Belgium and the Czech Republic to showcase their products and services.

The 19th Dubai International Boat Show starts on March 1st at the Dubai International Marine Club, Mina Seyahi.
