Nashen Moodley festival director for Sydney Film Festival, said: “This is just a cross-section and a taste of what we have in store, but you’ll already see the extraordinary diversity in subject, style and geography that makes a great international film festival.”

The full list of over 150 films and documentaries that are to be screened at this year’s event will be announced on May 9th 2012, with a number of films from emerging talents set to make the list.
