Timothy Spall talks of love of Thailand

Actor Timothy Spall has expressed a desire to return to Thailand after an “amazing” holiday in the country.

Timothy Spall, the actor best known for his roles in series   such as Auf Wiedersehen Pet and films such as Harry Potter, has told about how he would like to return to Thailand.

In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, Mr Spall explained that one of the best holidays he has ever had was at the Four Seasons hotel in Chiang Mai.

He described the hotel as “an incredible place” and said that the service “is superb”.

The actor first visited the resort when he was filming Auf Wiedersehen Pet and has stated that he’d like to go back there.

“It’s an amazing place and one of the best hotel spas I’ve been to in my life. […] I came away feeling as though I hadn’t worked at all,” he enthused.

He also revealed his love of sailing and even hinted that a trip across the oceans to reach Thailand could be on the cards in the future, if he buys a bigger boat.
