People who have booked holidays to Thailand will find plenty of luxury accommodation and restaurants, one journalist has commented.
Anyone who has booked flights to Thailand does not need to be worried that they are going to be surrounded by backpackers on their arrival in Bangkok because there are a lot of luxurious options available, one travel writer has stated.
Paul Oswell returned to Thailand more than ten years after his first visit to the country as a backpacker but opted for the luxury travel option rather than hostels this time around.
Writing in the Daily Mail, he explained that the hotels and restaurants in the Sukhumvit neighbourhood of Bangkok are a far cry from the hostels frequented by travellers on a budget.
Mr Oswell also pointed out that holidaymakers can stay in the lap of luxury at one of Thailand’s beach resorts.
He recommended Amari Vogue in Krabi or the Sarojin hotel in Khao Lak. He described the latter establishment as “a five-star compound of calm and serenity”.
The hotel has picked up a number of awards over the years, including taking the prize for the world luxury romantic hotel at the World Luxury Hotel Awards in 2009.
