People booking flights to Thailand may want to add a touch of luxury to their trip with a visit to the latest Marriott resort to open in the country.
Travellers taking holidays to Thailand could take advantage of the new JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort and Spa.
The complex is located to the north of Phuket in the Phang Nga region and is situated alongside a kilometre-long stretch of Khuk Khak beach.
Spa facilities within the resort include a steam room, yoga studio and 15 double treatment suites.
Guests may also enjoy the cuisine on offer in the seven restaurants and bars that make up part of the development.
Ed Fuller, president and managing director of international lodging for Marriott International, said: “[We] are confident the JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort and Spa will be popular with leisure and incentive travellers who are seeking the renowned Thai travel experience in a relaxed, quiet environment.”
Other Marriott resorts in Thailand can be found on the island of Koh Samui and in Hua Hin on the country’s east coast.
While Khao Lak is only the company’s third spa, it also operates 15 other hotels throughout Thailand.
