People planning holidays to Thailand may be interested to learn about the new range of therapies on offer at one spa in the resort.
Anyone booking holidays to Thailand may want to pay a visit to the Banyan Tree Spa in Phuket as new holistic therapies have been launched there.
Drawing on Asian healing traditions, the spa has introduced a range of Ayurvedic treatments.
Packages on offer include massages that are designed to relax, detoxify and refresh the body, as well as a variety of other wellness treatments.
The spa has brought in specialist Ayurvedic therapists and doctors from India to offer visitors an authentic experience. Staff are on hand to advise on treatments and oils for individual guests.
Ravi Chandran, managing director of spa operations for the company, commented: “The introduction of Ayurvedic therapies is in line with Banyan Tree Spa’s holistic approach to wellness with an emphasis on ancient health and beauty practices passed down from generation to generation.”
Ayurveda is a holistic healing philosophy that developed in ancient India over 5,000 years ago. It focuses on preventing illness, increasing longevity and rejuvenating the body.
