People planning holidays to Thailand may want to check out Thai Airways’ sale on flights to the country.

Thai Airways has announced that its sale will be extended to the end of November on flights to Thailand.

Holidaymakers can pick up the cheap fares if they are travelling from London to a number of popular Thai destinations, including Bangkok and Chiang Mai.

Any passengers who book flights by November 30th will be able to travel until March 2010.

Routes from Thailand to other countries in the region, such as Australia and India, are also reduced. Backpackers may be able to take advantage of the range of cheap flights on offer to Sydney, Perth and Hong Kong among other destinations.

Thai Airways has recently adjusted its schedule both to and from Australia and now runs a total of 47 flights per week from the country.

For British travellers, the carrier operates a non-stop service from London Heathrow to Bangkok, with planes leaving 14 times a day.

Once in the Thai capital, you could then chose to visit one of the 13 destinations the airline links to within the country. These include Phuket, Koh Samui and Surat Thani.
