Jet Airways has introduced 46 new flights to its domestic services to meet expected demand over the winter months.
Nikos Kardassis, chief executive officer of Jet Airways, explained: “With domestic air traffic, particularly business travel, on an upswing, there has been a strong up-shift in demand towards twin-cabin services on several routes.”
From March next year, Jet Airway’s economy service, Konnect, will begin flights to Aurangabad from Pune.
Jet Airways has a fleet of 91 aircraft – 12 Airbus 300-200, 14 AT 72-500, 11 Boeing 737-700, 42 Boeing 737-800, two Boeing 737-900 and ten Boeing 777-300ER.
The carrier currently flies to 67 destinations including 24 international locations and 43 cities within India, such as Jorhat, Port Blair and Bhubaneswar.
