SpiceJet, India’s popular low-cost carrier plans to connect its Delhi-Dubai and Mumbai-Dubai flights to Surat, revealed TOI, India’s leading daily. This surely is good news not only for leisure and business travellers in India but also for foreigners who look for convenient connection between city of Gold in Middle East and the diamond city of India!
“SpiceJet operates daily flights to Mumbai and Delhi from Surat. Now, it is has decided to connect Surat with Dubai via Mumbai and Delhi. However, passengers who want to fly to Dubai can book tickets online or from the travel desk at Surat airport,” a company spokesperson was quoted in news reports.
Industry experts feel the move is surely going to enhance the traffic on the route as there was no air connectivity from India’s Surat to Dubai. Tickets on these flights from the West Indian city will sure have many takers as the emirate is most popular destination for people here.
SpiceJet had recently launched its daily flights services to the emirate from Mumbai and Delhi, deploying its new generation Boeing 737-800 on the flight route.
