Emirates will start to fly from Dubai to Kuala Lumpur with the Airbus A380 later this year.
Global travellers seeking cheap flights to Dubai may be pleased to hear that Emirates has added the Airbus A380 to its Kuala Lumpur service.
The carrier will start offering flights between the emirate and the Malaysian capital using the superjumbo aircraft from December 1st this year.
“Emirates has always been committed to Malaysia and the launch of the A380 on the route follows strong and increasing demand,” said Richard Jewsbury, the carrier’s senior vice president of commercial operations in the Far East and Australia.
Kuala Lumpur is one of two new destinations the aircraft will serve for the airline from this winter, with an A380 service to Rome also due to begin at the start of December.
The carrier currently operates 21 direct flights from Dubai to Kuala Lumpur each week, with one daily service set to use the A380.
Emirates also flies to destinations such as Sydney, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Toronto with the aircraft, which it has described as “the most luxurious travel experience available”.
