Fans of music festivals may wish to fly to Sydney this June for a host of music events coinciding with the Queen’s Birthday Weekend.

The We Love Sounds Winter Festival will take place in Sydney on June 6th and will see music performances across a host of venues in the Moore Park Precinct such as the Horden Pavilion.

Artists appearing at this year’s event – the sixth annual festival – include a five-hour set from Armin Van Buuren, Armand Van Helden, Dirty South, Laidback Luke, Kissy Sellout and Chris Lake.

According to WhatsOnWhen, the Moore Park Precinct is “Sydney’s leisure playground” and encompasses Fox Studios, Sydney Cricket Ground, Aussie Stadium, Hordern Pavillion, Centennial Park and the Royal Hall of Industries.

Headliner Armin Van Buuren was named DJ Mag’s number one DJ in the world for both 2007 and 2008, the event’s official website stated.

The festival will also take place in Melbourne on June 7th and in Adelaide on June 8th.
