Anyone taking holidays to Perth this winter may want to watch a film under the stars.

Australia’s annual moonlight cinema has launched in time for the country’s summer months to allow movie buffs to see some of their favourite films as well as some of the latest releases in the open air.

People taking holidays to Perth can make the most of the outdoor cinemas, with showings on offer in the city until March 14th.

Films include classics, such as Pulp Fiction, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and The Godfather, as well as some of this year’s most eagerly anticipated releases.

Twilight, 2012 and Where the Wild Things Are are among the movies on offer to anyone visiting the city.

Perth’s open air screen is located at Synergy Parkland in Kings Park, where you can bring your own picnic or buy dinner from the venue’s caterer.

If you’re worried about being comfy during the film then you could always hire bean beds and blankets.

Other Australian cities with a moonlight cinema programme include Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
