China Southern Airlines has agreed a new partnership with Tourism Australia to develop new flights to Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
Flights to Sydney from Guangzhou will benefit from a twice-daily service and flights to Brisbanefrom Guangzhou will be available three times a week. There will also be a daily flight to Melbourne from Guangzhou.
“This highlights a new stage of strategic cooperation between China Southern and Tourism Australia across major areas of business development and marketing,” explained a statement from the airline.
It is expected that the new routes will make use of A330-300 and A330-200 aircraft, with the latter offering Premium Economy and First Class ticket options.
China Southern Airlines is China’s largest carrier and has 53 international offices located in major cities such as London, Sydney, Dubai and Brisbane.
