Staying in an airport hotel the night before getting a flight can help to make the trip start on a relaxing note.
People planning to take long-haul flights to New Zealand and other countries could give their trip a relaxing start if they think about using airport hotels the night before.
For those who are planning to jet off to foreign lands on an early morning flight, staying in a hotel the night before eliminates the need to get up at the crack of dawn in order to make it to check-in on time, according to Kathrin Cockhill, director of sales and marketing at the Radisson Blu Hotels & Resorts at Stansted Airport.
“The main advantage is that you are on site, ready to go and you can start your holiday the night before – which adds to the whole relaxing experience of going on a break,” Ms Cockhill added.
There could be a lot of people planning to get flights to New Zealand from all areas of the UK in the coming weeks, as the national teams for England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales are all competing in the Rugby World Cup.
