Tata Group is planning to come up with several new hotels in India. Properties are being established at popular Indian cities, which normally are part of all holidays and packages to the nation.

Vacationers planning holidays and seeking packages to India in few years to come will have the option of lodging in some of the new properties that are about to come in the country. Tata Group’s Indian Hotels will be establishing 19 new properties under ‘The Gateway Hotels and Resorts’ brand in four years in a bid to expand its operations in the nation.

Presently, the company has approximately 2,200 rooms under the Gateway portfolio. Another 2,000 rooms will be added to the inventory. The Gateway Hotels and Resorts are 5-star full-service resorts that are expected to attract those seeking luxury holidays and tickets to India.

“We will be opening 19 new hotels under the Gateway brand by FY 2017 across the country, taking the total tally of hotels under the brand to 42,” the firm’s COO was quoted in Business Standard, one of India’s leading financial daily.

The news report has indicated that the units will be established in Kolkata, Raipur, Pune, Hyderabad, NCR, Corbett Park, Bengaluru and Gondia in Maharashtra, among others. Those seeking holidays and tour packages in these areas will surely be able to take advantage of the firm’s options.

As of now, the hospitality firm has properties across the country at top holiday destinations such as Agra, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Varanasi. Hotels are also available at business destinations such as Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Calicut and Vadodara.
