New Zealand has many adrenaline-fuelled activities waiting to be discovered by the intrepid tourist – most of them can be found in Queenstown – but one trip explores the countryside and sets the pulse racing more than most.
Nomad Safaris offer the chance to board a rugged 4×4 and scramble over the foothills and lakeshores of the South Island.
Tours depart Queenstown daily at 8.00 am and 1.30 pm and the full experience lasts around four hours.
