Meetings event taking place in Auckland
New Zealand’s largest city, Auckland, is looking to attract business tourists with a huge trade show next month.
On June 13th and 14th, the Meetings event at the Sky City Convention Centre will feature 170 exhibitors, as well as buyers from across the globe.
Attendees to the Meetings showcase will get to find out more about the destinations, venues, products and service providers New Zealand has to offer.
Last year’s event in Rotorua generated in excess of $32 million (£15.4 million) worth of business leads for our industry and it is hoped that this year’s event on the north island will be even more successful.
Conventions and Incentives New Zealand chief executive Alan Trotter said the country is an ideal destination for business travellers.
“New Zealand is a dream destination for conferences, conventions and incentive travel because of our diversity and our ability to deliver amazing experiences at cost-effective prices,” he said.
