London, 25 January 2016: Southall Travel Group, a leading flights and holidays company, has acquired a large office in the exclusive commercial district of Mayfair, London. The company intends to move its corporate headquarters to this new six-storey facility on Dover Street in the third quarter of 2016. Southall Travel acquired the state-of-the-art office facility after a three-year search and with an investment of £17 million. The travel company currently maintains headquarters at Iver, Buckinghamshire.
The relocation of headquarters is part of the company’s long-term expansion strategy. Southall Travel Group has witnessed accelerated growth over the past few years and a much larger space was needed to accommodate the expansion. The new office building in London will provide more flexible and accessible venue for meeting and conference facilities with the firm’s business partners and suppliers.
During the financial year ending 2015, Southall Travel Group’s turnover has grown by £65 million to £420 million.
The privately-owned company had been looking for a new office location since 2012 and with this new acquisition the company can now progress with its exciting new business plans.
Mayfair, an exclusive West London district, is home to major corporate headquarters and several embassies, including the United States Embassy. Mayfair boasts London’s largest concentration of luxury hotels and many upscale restaurants.
Southall Travel’s new office location in this prime commercial area is a prestigious acquisition to provide a long-term headquarters for the travel company.
