Employees are encouraged to take a holiday to prove they can manage their time.
Employees in the UK should make sure they manage to organise their time to fit in a holiday as it can give a good impression to employers.
This is according to recruitment website Hirescores.com that said it is a valuable trait to be able to manage time well enough to take advantage of a break.
“If you can’t demonstrate your ability to delegate to the point where you can take a much bigger break, then we will be concerned about your management ability, delegation et cetera,” said Lisette Howlett, managing director at the company.
Taking a holiday can work to make employees like their company better and contribute to their wellbeing, she added.
On average, some Brits spend as much as seven hours per week working while on a holiday, accounting for a total of a quarter of a billion hours per year, figures from Hotels.com found.
Travellers catching a flight to Australia may wish to escape the stresses of work by taking a luxury break in the Outback wilderness.
A five-class camping lodge in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park could offer holidaymakers in Australia a getaway from modern-day life.
