FringeNYC, also known as New York International Fringe Festival, is among the largest multi-arts festivals across North America. In 2015, the 19th edition of this festival is scheduled from 14th to 30th August. During these 17 days, the event will feature over 200 shows ranging from drama to opera and from dance to theatre performances. These shows will be held at 16 different venues across New York. #LoveStory
This musical comedy narrates the story of Zoe Tiller, a woman in her late 20s, who seeks romance in her life. This 150 minute long story offers a sneak peek into 21st century love. Visit Theatre 80 on 14th, 19th, 20th, 26th and 28th August to enjoy this Todd Rich directed show.
A Life TBD
This interesting play depicts a love story in three distinct ways directed by three different directors. The story is about two former lovers, with the man now being in the middle of a bank robbery, while the lady is clueless about her life. Sounds interesting? Watch this unique play at The Celebration of Whimsy (The C.O.W.) on 15th, 16th, 25th, 26th and 29th August.
Behind the Wall – An Autism Performance Piece
This is an emotional story of Joyce and her brother Clarence and beautifully blends elements of Post-modern movement, performance art, dance and music. The Steve & Marie Sgouros Theatre is the venue to enjoy this moving story about responsibility, care and love. The show will be held on 15th, 18th, 21st, 23rd and 26th August.
CODA
CODA or Children of Deaf Parents is a solo show performed by Mark Murray. Tim is the son of deaf parents and the story highlights his struggles about managing life between the deaf and those who can listen. The venue for CODA is The White Box, 440 Studios and the dates are 16th, 20th, 22nd, 24th and 28th August.
