Holidaymakers will be stunned by the “breathtaking” Phi Phi Islands of Thailand, a writer has claimed.
Thailand’s “breathtaking” Phi Phi Islands are sure to impress holidaymakers, according to a writer.
Dawn.com’s Rumaisa Bilal said that the many highlights of her trip to the country included paying a visit to Maya Bay – where the Leonardo DiCaprio film The Beach was made – and taking a ferry tour of Phi Phi Lay and Yao Yai, the most “thrilling” part of her time in holiday was a snorkelling adventure in the clear waters.
“There is nothing like seeing all kinds of colourful fishes roaming around with your eyes,” she wrote. “The corals also look beautiful and you can’t help but marvel nature for all these hidden surprises.”
Located around 45 minutes from Phuket, the Phi Phi Islands are reachable from the city and Krabi.
There are six islands in total – the largest being Phi Phi Le and Phi Phi Don – and they offer a range of activities for active travellers, including game fishing, rock climbing and kayaking.
