A holiday to Thailand could be just the thing for golf-lovers as a new holiday tour is launched in the Asian destination.
“Golf in a Kingdom: The Thai Golf Experience” combines some of the country’s premier hotels with eight “premium” golf courses to entice the Western golfer to try out the sport in Thailand.
“I don’t think golfers on either continent [Europe or North America] fully realise that this is a country with more than 250 courses, many of them as good as you’ll find anywhere in the world,” said Mark Siegel, president of Golfasian.
He added that for people looking for a good value-for-money break, now is a better time than ever to take a holiday in Thailand.
For those looking for something other than golf on their Thai trip, the Phuket Raceweek taking place between July 22nd and 26th may be of more interest.
The regatta will involve four days of sailing events accompanied by five nights of partying, music and barbeques.
