Die-hard fans of Liverpool Football Club may wish to book holidays to Thailand in order to watch their team play in July.

The squad is to travel to the south Asian country to play at the Rajamangala National Stadium – the national stadium and the biggest in the country – on July 22nd, before heading to Singapore four days later.

It is to be the first time that Liverpool has visited Thailand to play in a pre-season friendly since 2003.

Manager Rafael Benitez said: “We have a fantastic group of fans in both Thailand and Singapore and it will be great to take the lads out there again.”

Thai Football Association president Dato Worawi Makudi said the organisation is eagerly anticipating the matches in July.

Anyone keen to support the Merseyside team could consider booking their flights to Thailand with Thai Airways, which offers a number of services from the UK.
