The Take That singer had been forced to rearrange his plans after issues with his flight but made it to South Africa slightly later than planned on March 3rd.
However, he was quick to fall in love with the city and made his views known on the social networking site by posting an image of himself wearing a striped T-shirt and a pair of sunglasses while on Table Mountain, with the view of Cape Town behind him.
It could be plenty of his followers are now also eager to to head to the sunny city to escape the cool weather in the UK.
“Well I made it to Cape Town. It was worth all the drama. Beautiful place,” he wrote.
Cape Town is home to many of the most famous locations in South Africa, including Robben Island and the Kirstenbosch Gardens.
