Kerala Tourism is introducing seaplanes and special bogies to attract domestic tourists as well as foreign holidaymakers booking tickets on flights arriving in India.

Kerala to Start Seaplanes to Boost Tourism

Vacationers grabbing air travel tickets for flights arriving in India would be able to take seaplanes and special bogies to arrive in Kerala. As per the authorities quoted in media, these are expected to be operational by January 31 next year

The authorities are planning to set up jetties for arrival and departure of these seaplanes – each at Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha and Kochi. Featuring beautiful attractions and houseboats, these are the most sought after destinations among air travellers who buy flights tickets to land in Kerala.

On the other hand, the department has zeroed down on two trains – Trivandrum to Kozhikode Jan Shatabdi Express and the Maveli Express running between Mangalore and Trivandrum. These special bogies will be converted into absolutely superb services to entice domestic travellers as well as foreign tourists buying tickets aboard India flights and connecting with Kerala.

The renowned state of India received 0.8 million foreign tourists last year. With re-invention and new services, the tourism authorities are looking forward to offer special experiences to one and all and a good reason for holidaymakers to visit Kerala time and again.  The tourist authorities are leaving no stone unturned to promote the state and catch the fancy of international vacationers making tickets reservations for India flights.
