Kerala’s mix of attractions make it like few places on Earth, according to the prime minister.
Holidays to India are often a breathtaking and natural experience no matter where people choose to stay, but Kerala in particular is carving out a unique reputation in global tourism.
Prime minister Manmohan Singh has said that the state has a collection of attractions that make it unlike any other place on Earth.
“Because of its breathtaking natural beauty, rich culture heritage, magnificent cuisine and warm and friendly people, Kerala has carved a niche for itself in the world of tourism,” said Dr Singh.
He added that its social and human progress was also on a par with many of the more developed countries across the globe.
Kerala has an expansive infrastructure that is capable of providing a number of holiday opportunities, be it coastal stays, river cruises or jungle treks.
