Southern Indian state, Kerala is all set to promote eco-tourism at Arippa Forests. The state authorities plan to establish new accommodation facilities and hire local guides from Kani tribe to treat nature buffs taking flights to India.
Travellers taking flights to India to relish the exotic natural exquisiteness and rustic village life of the Southern region of the country can now look forward to realising their dreams at the scenic Arippa forests of Kerala.
Kerala administration is planning to establish new facilities at these picturesque forests for travellers who book India bound flights to get a glimpse of the diverse wildlife and the unique ecosystem of the region.
An expansion plan has been laid down for the tourist destination along the Senkottah highway for the benefit of the nature devotees taking flights to this Southern Indian state, stated a press release of the Kerala Forests Development Corporation (KFDC).
Under this development plan, the department will offer better accommodation facilities on the location which would also serve the needs of the vacationers planning a stay near Thenmala and Mankayam waterfalls.
The current guest house of the corporation at Arippa would also be renovated and some night camps will be set up to cater to tourists seeking nature’s bliss after booking those ever desirous flights to India.
KFDC has also decided to pick locals from the Kani tribe as guides to make the travel experience of the vacationers even more enriching. Besides Arippa, KFDC is also planning to enhance tourist facilities at destinations like Thenmala and Mankayam by the end of the year to boost the influx of international travellers taking India bound flights.
